Paul Evans, owner of Cheers Wine and Brewing Limited on Priory Rd in Cheam, will give a talk to Cheam and Cuddington Horticultural Society about the process of making beer and wine at home. As It is a vast subject, Paul will focus on the most important aspects for those just getting started.“I will be talking about what I have had personal experience of doing. I’m planning to start with country wines because there’s some tradition there. Elderflower wine and champagne is a good example to discuss especially because the trees should start flowering soon.”If you would like to learn more about making your own beer and wine at home, come along on the night. The object of Cheam and Cuddington Horticultural Society is the promotion, advancement and enjoyment of horticulture and gardening.
