Once again, the Buffalo Museum of Science turned Beerology into a sold-out event, and the sixth annual “Beerology: It’s Science On Tap!” was a bubbling success.
All three floors of the museum were open to Beerology guests and filled with things to see and do.
Guests could sample beers and other brews from some of the best microbreweries in the area, snack on beer-friendly foods, and enjoy presentations on home-brewing and lectures on a variety of beer-related topics.
On the first floor, the auditorium was the venue for “Beer Talks,” where we learned about the science of cask ale and the art of cellarmanship, how to tell when beer goes bad, and ancient brewing practices.
Throughout the first two floors there were brewers, tasting and food. And on the third floor, the museum opened up its new interactive exhibits: Bug Works, In Motion, nano, Sparks and Our Marvelous Earth.
We found much more involvement on this third floor than we have seen in the past—the exhibits were fun and informative. The sixth Beerology event certainly proved to be an informative and fun night at our Buffalo Museum of Science.
