Reclamation Brewing Company is a small team of American craft brewers from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania trying to fund their dream of opening a craft beer brewery / brewpub. Since forming their company, the goal of Reclamation Brewing has been to craft great beers and educate people about beer and its history. If you know anything about RBC, you may know that I've been following Ben Smith, John Smith and Ben Duncan since the beginning, filming a three-part documentary series about their journey from beer lovers to beer brewers as they learn how to brew beer and how to start a brewery. However, this project was different. Instead of just following their journey, I needed to help them continue their journey through Indiegogo. The Reclamation Brewing Indiegogo video with filmed with the Canon EOS Rebel T3i DSLR running Magic Lantern with a Sigma 17-50MM F/2.8 lens. The Davis & Sanford Provista 7518 Tripod with FM18 Head and Glide Gear DEV 235 video camera track slider were used for support. Audio was captured with the Rode NTG2 condenser shotgun microphone and recorded using the TASCAM DR-60D linear PCM recorder. Two Qualite 300 V-2012 focusing flood lights were used along with two Impact LB-QL300 Luxbanx Duo softboxes to light the scene. The video was edited using Adobe Premiere and After Effects CS5.5 and color graded with Davinci Resolve 10 on an Apple Macbook Pro. 2 Gallon Batch:
2.5 lb pilsen
3 oz honey malt
2 oz caramel 20 malt
.25 oz Motueka Hop @ 30 min
1 oz fresh grated ginger @ 5 min
zest of one lime @ 5 min
zest of one lemon @ 5 min
1 oz fresh grated ginger @ 0 min
Juice of 1/2 lemon & 1/2 lime @ 0 min
1 oz fresh grated ginger in secondary fermenter
(Can add more ginger if you want your ginger beer more on the spicy side)
