Rock Bottom is releasing its popular Summer Honey Ale, a refreshing summer craft beer with a touch of honey – and a new pairing menu with items like Mango Chicken and Honey Chili Chicken Wings.
Be the first to try the beer and food at a tapping party on July 8, 6 pm Rock Bottom’s Downtown Chicago location. Proceeds from the party will benefit charity partner The Henry Schueler 41 & 9 Foundation for pediatric leukemia research.

Franklin Tap will welcome Brewery Weihenstephaner for a World Cup event celebrating the semi-finals. Bask in the excitement of the world’s biggest sporting event while drinking from the world’s oldest brewery, Weihenstephaner. Beer aficionado, Jason Baldacci of Total Beverage Imports, will sample beers and award limited edition Weihenstephaner World Cup 2014 glassware (with purchase). The featured beers for the day will be: Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier $5 5.4% 17 oz; Weihenstephaner Vitus $8 7.7% 17 oz; Weihenstephaner Pale Ale $6 5.5% 16 oz. The game will kick-off at 3 p.m. and will be shown on 11 HDTVs with sound.

3rd Square Roots Festival
Lincoln Ave. between Montrose & Wilson, Chicago
Square Roots, the one-of-a-kind craft beer and music experience, returns to Lincoln Square July 11-13, with more than 50 acts on four stages, and 30 regional craft brews paired with Lincoln Square’s finest restaurants and artisans. Presented by the Old Town School of Folk Music and the Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce, the three-day festival will feature music, dance parties, participatory jams and plenty of family fun activities.
