TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) — The second annual Tupelo Craft Beer Festival was Saturday.
About 10 percent of the proceeds from the festival were split between the Tupelo Downtown Main Street Association and the Tupelo-Lee County Humane Society.
The festival was held at Fair Park from 12-5 p.m.
There were about 75 different beers from more than 30 different breweries.
Organizers expect the event to be even bigger next year.
“Beer festivals are just growing all over the country,” Tupelo Downtown Main Street Association Marketing Associate Jessica Hollinger said. “They’re getting more and more popular throughout this past year. We’re just so excited to bring one to Tupelo.”
The festival included a beer education class.
There were also vendors selling home brewing kits.
