My Home Brewing Beer Filtration System. This video shows the filtering of my first all-grain batch. It was an American Pale Ale with "El Dorado" Hops (which I highly recommend). I was inspired to try filtering after seeing the process at the Yards Brewery in Philadelphia. Filtering does create better clarity than using irish moss or gelatin, but it removes some of the hop flavor and a lot of the body from the beer. If I had 2 sixtel kegs at this time, i would have filtered it directly into the keg, but this is just 1 way to do it.
Ended up breaking this out on St. Patty's Day, put some green food coloring in it. It was gone within 3 hours!!
