I currently have a Beirra Moretti clone on tap, along with my yearly pumpkin ale (will be tweaked next year) In the fermentor is a clone of the Stone 15th anniversary brew, think a smoother version of the sublimely self righteous black ipa, but dry hopped for a week with Nelson Sauvin hops. If you haven’t had a chance to smell Nelsons and your a homebrewer, you are truly missing out on something great! They seriously may be my new favorite aromatic hop. Thinking of trying a smores sweet stout made with homemade marshmellow and cacao nibs. Sounds weird, but I think it could be great on these “chilly” AZ nights.
In other news, I had a Four Peaks pumpkin ale (local cult following type brew), an Epic Hopulent (a must try), and a funky curry, lime leave, and coconut beer called indra kunindra or something. I can’t remember the brewery that makes it, but all I tasted was curry flavor lol.
Also, found a cool show on beer/brewing called brewdogs last night. Was pretty cool!
Cheers and keep on brewin’!
